Samples in, data out — recorded as it happens. These are the two protocols behind our sample analysis service: how to prepare and ship a blood sample, and what the UV-microscopy & amyloid burden analysis covers. Submissions are handled with confidentiality; if we find an anomaly, a recorded video review is optional and paid on request.

P-01 · Collection & Shipping
What to collect and how to ship it: glass microscope slides (no coverslips), a safety lancet and a sterilizing swab, packed in a slide mailer. Include a brief description of your general health and an email address for the results. Dried smears travel at room temperature; liquid samples are kept cool, never frozen — shipped by mail or package carrier to the lab in Kani, Gifu, Japan.

High-resolution UV microscopy of your sample, with Thioflavin-T staining: the dye binds amyloid fibrils, which fluoresce green under UV light, making fibril burden visible. If an unusual finding turns up, you can opt to receive a recorded video review from Dr. McCairn — the payment link is emailed together with the results. All results are handled confidentially.
